Report: Ndamukong Suh cancels visit with Raiders, considering Rams, Titans and Saints

Ndamukong Suh being released was one of the biggest stories Monday as the NFL tampering period kicked into high gear

The Oakland Raiders were all set to have free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh in for a visit Wednesday but had the rug pulled out from under them.

According to Mike Silver, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Suh canceled that meeting and is considering signing with the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans. Per the report, the Rams made a strong impression on Suh, but nothing is done yet.

Suh was released by the Miami Dolphins earlier this month in a cap-saving move by the franchise. He was due to count $26.1 million against the cap, which was just far too much money to spend on a defensive tackle.

That said, in no way did his release indicate Suh isn’t still a dominant player in the NFL. He’s still one of the most disruptive and effective defensive tackles in the league and has racked up 51.5 sacks in his eight-year career. No doubt, whichever team he ends up signing with will pay him a pretty penny to join.
