On Wednesday, Kam Chancellor and Jeremy Lane both took to social media with some cryptic messages that seem to indicate the Seattle Seahawks won’t have Richard Sherman on board in 2018.
Lane was the first to post, and it seemed ominous.

Not long afterward, Chancellor posted a message that could be construed as saying goodbye to Sherman.

Needless to say, these messages had Twitter in a frenzy as people assumed this meant Sherman will either be cut or traded.

Sherman recently had a second surgery to repair damage done when he ruptured his Achilles tendon last year. He was rumored to be a guy Seattle was looking to trade, but that surgery was a big barrier to any deal getting done.
Then there’s this:
Cutting Richard Sherman would save Seahawks $11 million in 2018, which is the final year of his contract.

We’ll certainly keep our eyes open for any developments going forward. But it sure seems like Lane and Chancellor have some information that they’re not happy about, meaning Sherman could be on his way out soon.
