DeMarco Murray ‘100 percent, yes’ wants to stay with Eagles

DeMarco Murray isn’t interested in seeking greener pastures, despite a rumor to the contrary on Thursday.

The Philadelphia Eagles running back, when asked if he still wants to be with the Eagles, responded “100 percent, yes,” according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Murray also shot down any notion that he was trying to make a big stink about his reduced role when speaking with owner Jeffrey Lurie on the flight back home this Sunday.

Jason Cole of Bleacher Report had previously reported Murray as trying to get back to Dallas earlier on Thursday, which is why the running back was asked about this in the first place.

It’s been a disappointing season for last year’s league-leading rusher. He only has 569 yards and four touchdowns and recently was relegated to a lesser role, toting the rock 13, 14 and eight times in his last three games.

However, despite all this, Murray insists he’s on board “100 percent” in Philly with the Eagles. Time will prove whether he’s really being honest or if he’s just saying the right thing at the right time.
