Zaza Pachulia lauds ‘historical night’ after outscoring Klay Thompson

Spurs fan lawsuit, Zaza Pachulia

The Golden State Warriors went up 3-0 over the Utah Jazz Saturday night. In the process Zaza Pachulia outscored Klay Thompson, which was something the two of them thought was rather funny.

Aside from the fact that Pachulia did outscore Thompston by one point, what makes it even more fascinating is the fact Pachulia did it while playing just 12 minutes.

Thompson, meanwhile, labored 39 minutes in the game. He went 1-for-9 from the field, 0-for-4 from behind the three-point line and only managed six points because he hit all four of his free throws.

The fact Golden State won by 11 points on a night in which Thompson couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with a handful of rice shows just how potent a lineup the Warriors feature. While he struggled, Kevin Durant went off, scoring 38 points to balance the scales for the road team.

The Warriors can close out the series on Monday night, when presumably the universe will right itself and Thompson will outscore Pachulia.
