The Los Angeles Lakers have signed LeBron James. It’s fair to say that the fans in Los Angeles have been dying to see him in purple and gold.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported that shortly after LeBron signed, one fan dropped nearly $200,000 on season tickets for the 2018-19 season, a package that doesn’t even include the postseason.
$188,781: What a person just paid for four Lakers season tickets on StubHub, including fees.
Tickets are in the lower bowl one section off center 16 rows up. DOES NOT INCLUDE PLAYOFF TICKETS.

Wow.
We can only wonder what this person will pay if and when the Lakers do make the playoffs (which is a distinct possibility now). For now, we can only speculate.
For this person’s sake, let’s hope that the Lakers don’t flop this coming season. That would certainly not go down as a good way to spend your money.
