Houston Astros rookie Yordan Alvarez has done nothing but impress since being called up a couple weeks ago, but now he’s dealing with a knee injury.
Alvarez was forced to exit Thursday’s game with knee discomfort. Afterward, through an interpreter, the rookie outfielder said he was dealing with pain that he has felt “more so than I have in the past.”
Already with a couple of MLB records under his belt, Alvarez will surely have this injury be treated with plenty of precaution.
Since he’s been called up, Alvarez has batted .299 with 17 hits in 57 at-bats, including seven home runs and 18 RBI.
