Minnesota Wild forward Marcus Foligno and defenseman Matt Dumba will sit out Wednesday’s game against the host Chicago Blackhawks.

Foligno will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury for the Wild (27-10-3, 57 points). He sustained the injury after crashing into the boards in Minnesota’s 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers on Friday.

Foligno, 30, has recorded 27 points (17 goals, 10 assists) in 39 games this season.

The 27-year-old Dumba, who is nursing an upper-body injury, has 20 points (four goals, 16 assists) in 39 games in 2021-22.

Defenseman Jon Merrill and forward Nico Sturm are expected to play on Wednesday after being cleared from NHL COVID-19 protocol.
