On a day full of incredible plays on special teams, Western Carolina Catamounts punter Caleb Ferguson delivered the best yet with a gorgeous 69-yard touchdown run.
Western Carolina took the field in its punting formation from its 30-yard line. It then shocked everyone when Ferguson took the deep snap and outraced every Chattanooga player for the insane touchdown.
Ferguson, who has played snaps at running back for Western Carolina, saw a great opportunity to display his speed and clearly Chattanooga never saw it coming. It’s going to be nearly impossible for a punter at any level to top this in 2019.
