WATCH: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with monster HR

We saw it on full display during the Home Run Derby last month. Toronto Blue Jays star rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. can hit the ball a long way.

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Dillon Tate found that out first hand Thursday night. Just check out this monster homer Vlad hit off his counterpart.

Notice that the left fielder did not move one inch. For good reason. The ball went 450 feet and had an exit velocity of 113.6 mph.

Humans are not supposed to hit the ball that hard.

Speaking of hitting the ball hard, this represented Vlad’s second homer of the game.

It sure looks like the kid is heating up just in time for the dog days of summer. The next two months should be a blast.
