The Kansas City Chiefs offense has been dormant in recent weeks. But thanks to Travis Kelce, that offense started strong against the New York Jets.
Kansas City capped off the game’s opening drive with a 22-yard touchdown from Alex Smith to Kelce.

The Chiefs’ second possession had a strikingly similar result. Thanks to a long punt return from Travis Kelce, Kansas City started the drive on the New York 36. It only took one play for Smith and Kelce to cash that in.
Less then 5 minutes into this game…@TKelce just caught his 2nd TD of the day! #ChiefsKingdom https://t.co/AxQ0Q4QTZk

For those of you scoring at home, that’s more points than the Chiefs had scored in either of their two previous games.
Not bad for roughly five minutes of football.
