Down by four points midway through the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did something we’re not used to seeing.
He panicked.
Following a penalty that made it second-and-goal from Pittsburgh’s 16-yard line, Brady faced intense pressure. Rather than throw the ball away, he made a hasty decision as he was being dragged to the turf.
Joe Haden was happy to clean up Brady’s mess.

Granted, this was a spectacular interception by Haden. But in no way should Brady have thrown that pass. It gave the Steelers the ball back with just under eight minutes left to play, and a four-point lead.
