It might be another lost season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. At the very least, they are playing a more exciting brand of basketball since acquiring D’Angelo Russell from the Golden State Warriors in a blockbuster trade last month.
The Chicago Bulls found that out and a bit more Wednesday evening. Check out this sequence from the Wolves as they go full Harlem Globetrotters on Chicago.
The outlet pass from James Johnson to Russell was absolutely legit. D’Angelo then went behind the back to Malik Beasley for the thunderous dunk.

As it relates to Russell, he’s been playing great ball since Minnesota acquired the All-Star. He’s averaging 23.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.8 assists while shooting 37% from distance.
