During the third quarter of Saturday’s game against Georgia, South Carolina quarterback Ryan Hilinski took a brutal shot to the knee and was helped off the field after laying on the ground for a few minutes.
Georgia’s Adam Anderson was charging hard toward Hilinski when he tripped, and the result was a helmet to the knee.
Hilinski had already been limping around all game on his left knee, which had a brace on it. This hit was brutal, and we just hope it didn’t produce a long-term injury.
