Houston Rockets guard James Harden was back up to his old tricks against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday evening.
Fresh off an awe-inspiring 57-point outing against the Memphis Grizzlies in his previous game, Harden went off for another 50 burger against the Nets.
The likely NBA MVP scored exactly 58 points on 16-of-34 shooting in Houston’s loss to the Nets. He’s the first player to drop 50-plus points in consecutive games since James Harden (yeah, that guy) did it back in December of 2017.
No other player in the Association has accomplished this feat in over a decade. And it was something to behold.

Dude is on an absolute roll. Harden is now averaging 43.5 points over the past 12 games.
Is that good? Unfortunately, the Rockets couldn’t win the game. That’s the most shocking development of the night.
