In a Pac-12 Championship Game full of big hits, Oregon Ducks quarterback Justin Herbert took one of the biggest blows in a disastrous sequence for the Ducks.
Pinned inside their 20-yard line on third down, Oregon’s center snapped it well before Herbert was ready. The ball sailed past Herbert towards the end zone, before Herbert caught up to it and covered it up at the one-yard line then took a direct shot to his head.
The Utes defender practically punched Herbert with his fist first hitting the side of Herbert’s facemask, then he took a shot to the head from the defender’s forearm. After seeing one targeting call overturned in the first quarter, it appears the refs might be letting a few more things go with so much on the line for both teams.
