When opportunity knocks for a freshman at the collegiate level, the pressure is on to perform and impress coaches. Penn State Nittany Lions freshman quarterback Will Levis soared above the pressure with an absurd hurdle over a defender on Saturday.
After pushing Penn State’s offense into the red zone, Levis kept the football with his mind focused on a big play. When one of Rutgers’ defensive backs tried to stop him, the freshman hurdled the tackle attempt then picked up a few extra yards.
Levis drew the start on Saturday after the Nittany Lions ruled out quarterback Sean Clifford with an undisclosed injury. Facing one of the worst defenses in college football, Levis is clearly ready to take advantage of his opportunity.
