Trailing 9-3 early in the second quarter of Super Bowl LII, the New England Patriots appeared set to cut that deficit in half with a short field goal. Unfortunately, that got botched and botched badly.

This can largely be attributed to the bad snap from Joe Cardona. Ryan Allen could have gotten the ball set a little quicker, but the snap did him no favors. Stephen Gostkowski actually got a decent kick off, considering he was essentially flat footed.
With the miss, the Eagles held their 9-3 lead.
