The passing game wasn’t working, so Patrick Mahomes took matters into his own hands on Monday night as his Kansas City Chiefs took on the Denver Broncos.
One play after a perfectly thrown pass that hit Tyreek Hill right in the hands was dropped by the receiver, Mahomes ran in his first NFL touchdown from nine yards out.

This first touchdown run of his career gave the Chiefs an early 10-3 lead over the Broncos in what’s been a much tighter offensive showing than anyone anticipated.
