WATCH: On draft day, Joe Burrow helped mom do ‘Pledge of Allegiance’ for her school

Joe Burrow Heisman speech

Joe Burrow continues to show he’s a pretty down-to-earth guy. The presumptive No. 1 overall pick, on the day of the draft, proved it again.

As shared by Brooks Kubena of The Advocate, Burrow spent part of his morning helping his mom, who’s an elementary school principal, do a virtual rendition of “Pledge of Allegiance” for the kids at her school.

Talk about Joe Cool. The young man clearly isn’t sweating anything about life right now.

Burrow reportedly has already been told by the Cincinnati Bengals that he’ll be the first pick of the draft. He’s coming off the most legendary single season by a quarterback in modern college football history and has full confidence he’ll be able to turn a losing team into a winner.

But before all that, he’s doing what he can to brighten up kids’ days.

Oh, and don’t make fun of his hair tonight.

The Bengals are getting a good dude.
