WATCH: Nick Foles hauls in trick-play TD pass on fourth down

Nick Foles is a huge reason why you shouldn't bet against the Eagles in Super Bowl LII

Doug Pederson has big, brass ones, ladies and gentlemen. He dialed up a tremendous (and risky) trick play on fourth-and-goal with under a minute to play in the first half Sunday, and it worked. Trey Burton received the ball on a double-reverse and found Nick Foles in the end zone, wide open for six.

This was a huge call and play right before halftime. It put the Eagles up by the score of 22-12 with just 34 ticks remaining before halftime. Had they messed up, momentum was going to be in New England’s favor. As it was, they did pull it off and reaped the rewards.

Even better, it was the first reception of Nick Foles’ career.
