The first half of their season opener Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves did not go too swimmingly for the Brooklyn Nets.
Brooklyn found itself down 12 points and had given up 68 in the first two quarters. Fortunately for the Nets, guard Spencer Dinwiddie was able to cut into what would have been a larger lead at the buzzer to end the second quarter.
Check out Dinwiddie nailing a 35-foot three from the Nets’ logo as time expired to pull the game to within a dozen.
On the very same night that new Nets star Kyrie Irving shared an emotional moment with the fans, maybe this can spark the team in the second half.
Dinwiddie dropped seven first-half point on just 3-of-8 shooting. Maybe this will help spark him, too.
