Nebraska outside linebacker JoJo Domann got a bit too aggressive with a WWE-style suplex tackle against Purdue’s Jackson Anthrop Saturday.
Domann was in great position to make a play after Purdue’s Jack Plummer zipped a pass to Anthrop. Unfortunately, college football frowns upon these types of over-the-top tackles.
Domann was flagged for a personal foul, which gave the Boilermakers 15 extra yards after the catch. This penalty, unfortunately for Nebraska, helped Purdue score a touchdown just before halftime to take a 14-10 lead.
Though, after Domann saw a nose tackle nearly score a touchdown off an interception earlier in the game, perhaps he was just overly enthusiastic.
