The Miami-Ohio RedHawks capped off a furious fourth-quarter comeback over Army on Saturday when Gus Ragland found tight end Nate Becker in the end zone with just seconds left in regulation.
Becker’s five-yard touchdown catch pulled the RedHawks to within one point, and the offense appeared to be preparing to win it with a two-point attempt.
Unfortunately, the tight end was so excited about catching the touchdown that he forgot about college rules and pulled off a glorious Gronk spike celebration.
Miami Ohio ties the game, but a spike of the football draws a flag to remove the chance for a two-point conversion and the win. https://t.co/3BfdAoQwCL

This was penalized, pushing the offense back 15 yards and negating any chance at attempting the two-point conversion.
The RedHawks did convert the extra point to push the game into overtime, but this penalty was a brutal gut punch that might end up costing them the win in the end.
