Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald absolutely has a heart of gold. Known for his altruism work off the field, Fitzgerald took some time to surprise a young 12-year-old fan who is dealing with a rare disease.

This boy sadly lost his mother to a neurodegenerative disease called Machado–Joseph disease and he is showing signs of this highly inheritable affliction as well.
But for the time being, Fitzgerald put a big smile on this young boy’s face while the two spent time at an arcade. Fitz also gave the boy a jersey.
Fitzgerald is one of the most genuine players in the league. This is just the latest example.
