Cam Newton and the Panthers offense couldn’t get anything going early in this one. This interception return for a touchdown represented the only real positive action for Carolina up to this point.
Unfortunately, after pulling to within seven points, Carolina’s defense ceded another three points shortly afterward when the Falcons made it 17-7.
