The Los Angeles Chargers are cruising right along with a 7-2 record, which ranks them at No. 2 in the AFC West. But, a special guest who attended the Chargers practice on Friday advised the team to not focus on their standing.
Instead, NBA legend and former Los Angeles Laker, Kobe Bryant told the team to focus on the moment, because “7 and 2 don’t mean s*** do it?”

He kept his pep talk very blunt and said for the team to be its “best today” rather than focusing on what is down the stretch.
The Chargers currently stand in pretty good shape overall in the AFC with their seven wins tying the New England Patriots for second place. Of course, we all know that the Kansas City Chiefs are out in the lead in the conference with an overall 9-1 record.
As it pertains to the Chargers, their next game takes place at home when they are heavily favored to beat the Denver Broncos.
Hopefully Bryant’s pep talk fell on well-receiving ears.
