WATCH: Khalil Davis sets combine record with fastest 40 ever by 300-plus-pound DL

Former Nebraska defensive tackle Khalil Davis is making an impression Saturday at the Combine, thanks to his record-breaking 40 time.

Check out the raw speed put on display by the 308-pounder.

Officially, Davis was credited with a time of 4.75 seconds. And according to ESPN’s Trey Wingo, that’s the fastest time ever for a 300-plus-pound defensive lineman since tracking began at the Combine in 2006.

A player who will likely be a Day 3 pick, Davis certainly helped his cause with this blazing 40 time.

Though, it may not have been the most impressive 40 from a big man at this year’s combine. That honor, in this scribe’s humble opinion, goes to former Louisville tackle Mekhi Becton, who had everyone talking on Friday.
