The San Francisco Giants and starter Dereck Rodriguez were not having a great go at it early on against the Reds Saturday night.
Fortunately for the struggling team, outfielder Kevin Pillar tracked down a would be homer from Reds rookie Nick Senzel to keep the game close early on.
What a dynamite play from Pillar right there. It might in fact be the best home run robbery you’ll ever see.
Not to be outdone, the Reds’ rookie would ultimately take Rodriguez deep in his next at-bat for Senzel’s first MLB homer.
