Jay Cutler is back in action as the Miami Dolphins take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in Week 2. After coming out of retirement to bail out Miami in the wake of Ryan Tannehill’s injury, Cutler’s first half of action wasn’t great, and his Dolphins teammates actually sparked a brawl in the tunnel at the half.
But it didn’t take him long to tie the game up at 10-10 in the third quarter. Avoiding a rush by rolling to his right, Cutler feathered in a perfect 30-yard strike to Kenny Stills, who was covered well on the play.
Hello, Jay Cutler.

If Cutler can stay healthy and avoid the critical turnovers that have plagued him in the past, then Miami might be able to make it back to the playoffs. This was a nice first step.
