Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker went up and got it. During the first quarter of Thursday’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Parker went for a 72-yard catch and run, setting up a Jay Ajayi touchdown.

The throw from quarterback Jay Cutler wasn’t perfect, as Parker had to stop his run to make the catch. However, it did allow for a wonderful play by the wide receiver, as Parker went above the cornerback and had room to run afterwards. It’s also good to see that Cutler still has some strength left in his arm.
If the deep ball becomes a regular part of Miami’s offense, it could become a real weapon should Parker start making catches like that with regularity.
