If anyone was still hoping that the arrival of Bruce Arians would fix Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston, it’s time to give up on that thought.
When given a chance to lead his team on the comeback, Winston collapsed under the pressure by throwing a horrendous interception that the San Francisco 49ers returned for the game-sealing score.
It’s Winston’s second pick-six of the game and it was just as bad as the first. This was hyped as the year the 25-year-old would finally correct his issues and be a reliable quarterback. Instead, he looks as bad as ever.
Winston handed San Francisco 14 points and his three total interceptions are the reason why the Buccaneers will suffer a crushing loss to begin the season.
