WATCH: Jameis Winston throws awful INT on game-opening drive

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has become known for some disastrous turnovers. He lived up to that unfortunate reputation on the team’s first drive with an awful interception against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Buccaneers wanted to get Winston feeling confident early with three passing plays to open the drive. Following an incompletion and a sack, he made the disastrous decision to throw it right to Cardinals cornerback Byron Murphy.

The young cornerback didn’t miss the perfect opportunity to record his first interception. He jumped in front of receiver Chris Godwin to haul in the football then kept both feet in bounds before falling out of bounds.

While Winston has shown he can make some big plays and put up solid numbers, the turnovers are a recurring problem and there seems to be no end in sight to his poor fortune and even worse decision-making.
