Baker Mayfield infamously planted the Oklahoma flag on the 50-yard line in Columbus after taking down Ohio State earlier this year. After beating Mayfield and the Sooners Saturday, Iowa State returned the favor. It appears defensive back Evrett Edwards is the man who pulled off the bold move.

The 38-31 win by the Cyclones was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) upsets of the 2017 college football season. Third-string quarterback Kyle Kempt rallied his offense, which gained 449 yards overall. He put a ball right over the top of an Oklahoma defender with just over two minutes to spare, and receiver Allen Lazard hauled it in for the game-winning touchdown (watch here).
Oklahoma couldn’t make anything happen on its final drive of the game, and the upset was complete.
