WATCH: Giannis Antetokounmpo tells fans not to call him MVP ‘until I win it again next year’

It’s Giannis Antetokounmpo Day in Milwaukee, but the reigning MVP told his adoring fans he doesn’t want them dwelling on his past accomplishments.

The Milwaukee Bucks held a special ceremony Sunday at Fiserv Forum to honor Giannis’ MVP award. Fans came out in droves to cheer Antetokounmpo on.

However, when Giannis stepped onto the stage, he sent a message to the large crowd, and the rest of the NBA, that indicates he is nowhere near satisfied with last year’s accomplishment.

This 24-year-old superstar clearly has a good head on his shoulders. And to his point about next year, Giannis is already heavily favored to win back-to-back MVP awards.
