The Philadelphia Eagles desperately needed a playmaker in their secondary. Now just a week after signing with Philadelphia, cornerback Orlando Scandrick is giving them everything it hoped for.

In a game the Eagles are dominating, Scandrick piled on and made life much worse for New York Jets quarterback Luke Falk. Scandrick came around on the blitz and ripped the ball from Falk’s clutches then took it the distance for the 44-yard touchdown.

Philadelphia’s defensive issues have been apparent for much of the season. A matchup against New York’s offense seemed to be just what the Eagles needed to turn things around.
