Duke star Zion Williamson was injured and left Wednesday’s game against North Carolina in the first minute. The play where it all happened was truly bizarre.
When Williamson planted his left leg, the force of his foot literally broke his shoe.

That’s not something you see every day.
The good news is that Williamson did walk off of the floor under his own power. The bad news is that he had a noticeable limp as he was doing so.
Williamson stayed on the bench briefly, but eventually made his way to the locker room.
Duke is the No. 1 team in the country and Williamson is the likely top pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. As such, this will definitely be something to monitor.
