There are some players in the NFL who you just can’t put single coverage on, and Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins showed exactly why he’s one of them on Saturday.
The All-Pro receiver scorched the New York Jets secondary and got open in the end zone for a tremendous 45-yard touchdown on a dime from quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Oh my…@DeshaunWatson goes deep to @DeAndreHopkins for the 45-yard TOUCHDOWN! #Texans

New York was already struggling to cover Hopkins with single coverage, a mistake that should have been corrected after the first quarter. Instead, Watkins found himself matched up against a safety and he made New York pay the price.
There are six minutes left in the second quarter and Hopkins has already burned the Jets for 108 receiving yards and a touchdown. On a cold night in the stadium, Hopkins is providing enough heat to keep everyone warm.
