The New York Giants made the switch to rookie quarterback Daniel Jones hoping he could spark the offense. The No. 6 overall pick came through early with a rushing score for his first NFL touchdown.
Jones led a beautiful drive down the field against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When no receivers got open in the end zone, the rookie decided to take it in himself with the seven-yard touchdown run.
From sharp throws and great timing to some quick feet to extend plays, Jones is already doing for this offense what Manning hasn’t done in years. When Jones gets even more comfortable in this offense, New York’s offense will keep improving.
