The Minnesota Timberwolves are hyped to have D’Angelo Russell on board following a NBA trade-deadline deal, and he’s already wowing in his first game with the franchise.
Midway through the third quarter, the new T-Wolves star drained a long-distance three from the logo at Scotiabang Arena.
That’s some Stephen Curry-type range from Russell, who never did get a chance to really play with the Golden State Warriors star much during his brief tenure with the club.
Earlier in the game, scoring his first two points as a member of the Minnesota organization, Russell also put on a show with this beautiful driving layup to open the game.
The guard got off to a hot start, scoring nine points in his first six minutes of play.
