Chicago Cubs reliever Justin Wilson owes catcher Willson Contreras more than an apology. We firmly believe this apology should come with a dozen roses and some chocolates. Maybe, a hand-written letter to Contreras’ better half.
Because, what Wilson put his backstop through late in Monday’s NL Central tiebreaker against the Milwaukee Brewers is going to hurt for some time.
Attempting an off-speed pitch in the eighth inning of a 1-1 game, Wilson hit Contreras where it counts. It’s not good. Guys, turn away if you’re the least bit squeamish.

That’s not good for anyone involved. The good news? Contreras was able to stay in the game. The bad news? Men everywhere had to live through the struggles with him.
Oh no Willson Contreras. A one-way train to tummy-ache town.

Euk just said that Contreras needed to see the “groinecologist”. We do not deserve this man. #ThisIsMyCrew

Don’t ever tell us baseball isn’t a contact sport.
