During Saturday’s game between Rhode Island and William & Mary, the Tribe pulled off one of the craziest touchdowns you’re going to see all year. Yet if you had not seen the play and only heard the call from the play-by-play announcer, you never would have known.
Rhode Island intercepted a pass, only to have running back Nate Evans rip the ball out of the defender’s hands. From there, he romped all the way to the house for six points.
Really it was a remarkable play.
Watch it, and make sure you have the sound on to gain a full appreciation for how anticlimactic the call from the booth was on the exciting play.
After the INT, Evans gets it back and takes it to the HOUSE! #GoTribe #CAAFB #SCTop10 pic.twitter.com/hWDLlwcx9c
