WATCH: Crazy end to Patriots-Steelers game must be seen to be believed

The game of the week between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers has lived up to the billing. The ending was so crazy it has to be seen to be believed.

After trailing for most of the game, the Patriots took a 27-24 lead on a Dion Lewis touchdown run, and a two-point conversion from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski. That’s when things got weird.

It started on the first play of the ensuing Pittsburgh possession. Steelers’ receiver Juju Smith-Schuster caught a pass over the middle for a 69-yard reception.

That put Pittsburgh in a position to not only tie, but to go for the win. The Steelers appeared to have that win on the next play, when Ben Roethlisberger found Jesse James for an apparent 10-yard touchdown. But upon further review, the play was ruled incomplete.

Two plays later, the Pats came through with the final big play of the day. Roethlisberger threw a ball over the middle to Eli Rodgers. It was deflected and caught by New England’s Duron Harmon.

Now, we can only hope that a potential playoff rematch would be as exciting as this.
