After fumbling earlier in the game, New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson wanted to get back in Bill Belichick’s good graces. He did just that with an explosive 95-yard kickoff return touchdown.
Early in the second quarter, Patterson took the ball from the five-yard line and used a series of moves to avoid defenders then hit the open lane. Once he reached a clearing, Patterson gave a high-five to a teammate then waltzed into the end zone.
The 95-yard Cordarrelle Patterson touchdown.
Considering his earlier fumble directly led to a #Bears touchdown. I think we can call this even.
6th KR TD of his career. https://t.co/GKIMMucMYK

Needless to say, this should square things with Belichick. Patterson’s return touchdown helped narrow Chicago’s lead and further displayed just how explosive Patterson can be as a returner.
