Ezekiel Elliott on a fourth-and-short would seem to be a pretty safe bet. But in the first quarter of Sunday’s game, the Indianapolis Colts defense was up to the task.
With his Dallas Cowboys facing fourth-and-one from the three, Elliott took a handoff from Dak Prescott. But he was quickly met by Pierre Desir.

For you fantasy owners out there, Elliott actually lost a fumble on the play.
As good as the Indianapolis defense was on this play, it never should have come down to it. On third down, Jamize Olawale was wide open for an easy touchdown, but dropped a pass from Prescott.
It was a very costly two-play sequence for Dallas.
