Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in the midst of a record-breaking season and has his team at 9-1 heading into a prime Week 11 matchup against a fellow one-loss Los Angeles Rams team.
The second-year signal caller has combined for 33 total touchdowns and 3,150 yards en route to leading the Chiefs to an average of 35.3 points per game.
Needless to say, Kansas City punter Dustin Colquitt has not seen the field much this season. That changed somewhat last week in a win over Arizona. He put up a season-high five punts.
Colquitt was also thankful to Mahomes for that opportunity.

“Thanks for letting me punt.”
That’s some brilliant stuff right there.
Thus far this season, Colquitt has punted just 28 times. For comparison’s sake, Britton Colquitt, Dustin’s brother, has punted 64 times for the Browns this season.
