After a 13-play drive by Oklahoma’s offense that resulted in three points, it was TCU’s turn to get something going in the Big 12 Championship Game. Only, the Sooners had different ideas, forcing a fumble, which was recovered by linebacker Caleb Kelly and taken to the house for six points.
In the blink of an eye, a tight game turned into a two-score affair.
TCU running back Kyle Hicks was swarmed in the backfield and simply coughed it up. Kelly was Johnny on the spot, putting the Sooners up 10-0.

This was exactly the way TCU did not want to start this game. The Horned Frogs really needed to be perfect on the offensive side of the ball to keep up with Baker Mayfield and Co. So far, no good.
