Well, that escalated quickly. The Auburn Tigers were on the ropes in the second quarter against Texas A&M in Week 9, but by halftime they were up by eight points.
A quick-strike touchdown put the Tigers up by one point late in the second quarter. Jarrett Stidham found Darius Slayton deep down the middle of the field for the second touchdown of the game for Auburn.

Three plays later after Auburn’s defense forced a three-and-out, Shane Tripucka had his punt blocked by Nick Ruffin, and Malik Miller fell on it for the easy special-teams touchdown.

This one was a bit on the funny side, as well, as the block went right off Tripucka’s helmet and into the end zone.

Suddenly, in the relative blink of an eye, the underdog Aggies went from being up by six to down by eight, 21-13. That’s how the first half ended, and we expect it could get pretty ugly for the home team going forward.
