Anthony Davis is pretty good at this defense thing, ladies and gentlemen. Paul George found that out the hard way on a failed challenge at the rim Christmas night.
As the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers battled in the third quarter, Davis made George pay for coming in to the paint with a savage two-handed block.
Smothered. Utterly humiliated for it, too, as George ended up on his keister at the conclusion of this play.
As sweet as this block was, it wasn’t the best highlight of the evening for Davis, who finished the first half in the lap of someone even more famous than he.
