It wasn’t much, folks, but Andrew Luck finally made his first official throw for the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 at practice Wednesday.

Luck has already (not surprisingly) been ruled out for the team’s Week 5 game against the San Francisco 49ers. General manager Chris Ballard recently said the quarterback would be slowly worked back into practice, so we’re definitely looking at some time still before Luck appears in a game for the Colts.
Regardless, it’s darn good to see the former No. 1 pick out there with his teammates on the practice field. He hadn’t thrown a single pass in a practice setting since last year before Wednesday. Baby steps.
