In a game where four field missed field goals and a missed extra-point attempt directly cost the Green Bay Packers the game, quarterback Aaron Rodgers made sure to console kicker Mason Crosby in the final moments.
Detroit won Sunday’s game 31-23, an eight-point victory that ultimately came down to a series of missed field goals by Crosby. Following Crosby’s final miss, Rodgers walked over to him on the sidelined and put his arm around the veteran kicker and support him after his rough game.

Rodgers certainly made a few mistakes in this game and fumbled the football twice. So he knows that he also shares responsibility for this week’s loss and the team’s recent struggles.
While Crosby’s future on the team is unknown, it’s clear the most important player on the roster still has his back. Rodgers’ support at least seemed to help as Crosby made a field goal in the final seconds.
